Prepress Specialist set the foundation for successful printing production. They ensure that the proper format, appearance and layout of text and images is set before the full print run for digital print need from; 16’ Vutek machines, Oce 8’x10’ Rigid Media printing machine, Roland Cutting machine, MultiCam iCut CNC Router machine and Miller Weldmaster are completed. Prepress Technicians take print or electronic files and scan or import them into specialized software, making color, text and digital image corrections as needed. They set up printing presses to produce scaled down and full size or electronic proofs. Prepress Technicians also maintain, repair and troubleshoot file management and RIP Stations as needed. Shift work is common for Prepress Technicians, as is overtime in order to meet deadlines.
GrandFormat digital printing company seeking prepress / preflight production designer. Must be proficient in Adobe CS5- Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Production experience in both offset and large format environments preferred.

This position is primarily responsible for performing large/grand format printers production related tasks necessary for the safe, efficient, and accurate operation of the printers. This position will also be responsible for assisting with make-ready activities, verifying production schedules and instructions, as well as completing quality control paperwork by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operates printers. Carries out pre-fabrication on completed print jobs. Performs regular maintenance on printers and troubleshoots when necessary. Performs typical progressive and transfer printer operations. Maintains an accurate count of parts and ensures production figures are met. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and organized condition. Examines job order to determine quantity to be printed, stock specifications, colors and special printing instructions. Measures material thickness and adjusts space setup between print heads/carriage according to thickness of material stock. Starts press, examines nozzle checks, position on material and registration and makes adjustments to press throughout production run to maintain specific registration and color density. Performs material handling as directed by supervisor. Communicates with supervisor and senior press crew to verify production schedules and instructions. Checks job set-up parameters with the job ticket specifications to ensure accurate setup. Completes accurate paperwork related to material usage. Evaluates product quality and takes corrective measures as necessary (i.e. color, register, fold, compensation, skidding). Monitors all printing and press related processes and makes adjustments as necessary. Follows all company and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations and encourages safe work habits from other crew members.
Customer Service Representative:
This position is primarily responsible for answering incoming calls, assisting customers with quotes and printing needs. This position will also be responsible for assisting outside sales representatives by performing the following duties.
Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Follows up on quotes and tracks accordingly. Accurately processes quotes and ensures all necessary files are ready for pre-press. Interacts with customer to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services. Provides support and backup to the Account Executives: phone support while out of the office; providing customers with basic information (e.g. shipping information, progress of print/job status); setting appointments/leads; researches new leads for Account Executives to follow up on. Handles and resolves complaints. Takes orders via phone, e-mail, fax, and/or walk-ins: banner blanks/quotes and orders as well as printed department/quotes and sales. Provides outstanding customer service to ensure orders are processed and logistics are managed accurately and on time. Resolves complex problems and issues in a professional and timely manner. Provides support to both our internal and external sales teams. Processes purchase orders (PO), samples, and evaluation requests. Interacts with the Shipping/Receiving department to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping priorities. Keeps customers, resellers, and distributors informed of shipment status. Maintains and develops an in-depth knowledge of the company’s available products and services. Uncovers customer needs through the use of probing techniques and other sales tools. Maintains quality service to all customers by answering product and service questions; cross-selling related products and services; and being courteous and responsive to all customer’s’ needs. Maintains customer record by verifying, updating account information and posting customer transactions. Resolves product or service problems in a timely manner by listening and verifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting the solution; and following up with the customer. Works in conjunction with other departments to resolve customer disputes. Maintains company operations by following established policies and procedures; and reporting needed changes. Prospects by using provided Google alerts and add client prospects to Lead Funnel.
Account Executive Rancho Cucamonga:
Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
Present and sell company digital print products and services to current and potential clients. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts. Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships. Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services. Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up. Identify and resolve client concerns. Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff. Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales. Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock. Other duties as assigned.
Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events. Follow-up for collection of payment. Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of merchandise and services. Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Digital Print Industry Experience/Portfolio Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques. This is normally acquired through a combination of the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree and three to five years of sales or marketing experience. Detailed and goal orientated. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients. This requires the possession of a valid state drivers license within 60 days of employment. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
